SUBSYSTEMS FOR AEROSPACE
7000N REGENERATIVELY COOLED LIQUID PROPULSION 4TH STAGE ENGINE OF PSLV FOR ISRO
ASACO is the ONLY manufacturer in India, of PS4 – liquid propulsion engines for ISRO’s PSLV launch vehicle- used in the first stage for roll control and 4th stage with Nozzle divergent.
MORE THAN 200 ENGINES DELIVERED BY ASACO AND LAUNCHED SUCCESSFULLY WITH A 100% SUCCESS RATE.
This critical engine (both with and without divergents) is fully manufactured and integrated in a specialized facility at ASACO in the following stages.
a. Machining from raw material to finished Engine chambers
b. Welding of the machined Engine Chambers (Electron Beam Welding)
c. Flow Calibration testing of Injectors
d. Final EBW of Triplet Injector with the Engine
e. Electron Beam Welding of formed Nozzle Divergent with the Flange
PRECISION MACHINED CNC COMPONENTS
ASACO has been manufacturing Precision Machined Engine Chamber Components for ISRO since 1986. In 2003, the company made considerable investments to modernize the facility with a host of State of the Art CNC Machines and a modern Quality control facility. In the next few years further, modernization was done and a Cleanroom facility, Anodization plant, and Electron Beam Welding facilities added.
